ScheduleReader Online opens a Primavera P6 .xer file in the browser. There is nothing to install and no P6 license to buy.
Upload the File
- Sign in to ScheduleReader Online and open the Schedules page.
- Choose Upload and pick the
.xerfile exported from Primavera P6. - If the export contains several projects, choose the ones you want in this schedule.
- The file is parsed on upload, so the schedule is ready as soon as the upload finishes.
Read the Schedule
The Gantt chart loads with the activities, the WBS hierarchy, dependencies and the critical path already in place. Filter, group and sort on any activity field, and switch between the Gantt and the activity table without leaving the page.
The original .xer file is never modified: the online viewer reads the uploaded copy only.
Save or Share the View
Filters, WBS colour schemes and baselines are saved per schedule version, so the next person to open the file sees the same view. Export the Gantt as a multi-page PDF for a status report.
